He's Got Their Number

Victor David Hanson has a comprehensive new essay on our friends the Saudis. It's a long read, but as usual, worth it.

The kingdom's failure to instill any kind of enterprise in its "citizens" illustrates the truth of Hillaire Belloq's statement in his book _Places_:

Islam is the enemy of the tree, as it is of all patient, continuous human effort.

A fine link, although I long ago decided I had no use for the worthless Arabs and their jumped-up "monarchy" and "royal family", a mob of goatherds installed in 1925 by the British and the Americans. Our decades old tradition of kowtowing to them is a most ineradicable stain on American honor.

At some time very near in the future, I think Western nations will have to seriously consider whether any Muslims at all should be admitted to their territory. Do we want to have more mosques than churches, as I gather is the situation in the Netherlands? And if this proposal does become a matter for public debate, might it not provoke a whole other controversy about whom else should be admitted, and how many?
