It’s too early to get an accurate poll on nanotechnology; people don’t know what it is and even if you tell them, they haven’t given it any thought.
Just make sure you poll them before they read Michael Crichton’s book, “Swarm”.
Can somebody please do a poll that would run like the following: “Do you believe that your fellow Americans are so frighteningly ignorant they should not even be allowed to vote in meaningless elections?”

Knowing some people, were they objecting to the “nano” or were they objecting to the “technology”?
