Rand, I sure hope your theory is not that it is the mere lack of information that has allowed this sort of wholesale looting by the lawless of the law-abiding to take place from the time of Caesar on down to the present.
I daresay you could strap every voting-age citizen to a chair, tape his eyeballs open, and click through this site slowly, while narrating the folly and criminality in seventh-grade English — and the voting percentages next fall would change by a whole 2%.
It’s not information that people lack. It’s good sense, and sometimes the will to act on it.
