  1. First thing I did after reading Krugman’s horrid column early on Sunday was send an email to the editor asking them to fire him and issue an apology.

That was really hateful. I see Donald Rumsfeld agrees.

  2. I think “smallest monster” is too much high praise for Krugman. A boil gets closer, but he is still far from humanity. He’s a coward with no shame in verifying that fact by refusing to open comments.

  3. We’ve always had Krugmans. The real sadness is we now live in a society of Krugmans to the point where we’ve elected them to run things.

We gave the vote to ALL 18yo because SOME would put on a uniform. What we should have done is Starship Trooper the vote with a twist, ONLY people in uniform get to vote.

    Disenfranchise me baby!

Just brainstormin’ Thinking outside the strait jacket.

  4. For those of us who believe in individual rights…including the right to be left alone….the sort of statist nonsense of Starship Troopers is frightening indeed. Leave me alone as much as possible, and certainly don’t tie my right to participate in government to indenturing me to government schemes for some portion of my life…

  5. Indeed, Ken. There’s something to be said for the old Athenian (?) practice of drafting people to serve in government, in the way we do now with jury duty. The people who want to be involved in politics are the very same people who shouldn’t be allowed in politics without adult supervision.

  6. The slug won a Nobel prize for biggest case of BDS — I’d be surprised if his latest hate-fest doesn’t fetch him a Pulitzer.

  7. As I’ve said before: this guy advocates faking an alien invasion and becoming a victim of an earthquake as means of improving the economy. He’s a stark raving lunatic with no grasp on reality, nobody should listen to even the slightest thing he says anymore.
