Over at Open Market, I have some thoughts on the NASA appropriations that are coming out of the minibus negotiations this week, and the implications for space development and the taxpayer.

Well, as we’re now learning, legislators buy and sell stock before they vote. Perhaps this explains their insistence on the SLS instead of the smaller commercial ventures, especially the ones that are largely self-funded.
