  1. That is too funny. The white shirts are clearly identical. So the important question is:

Did the other 19 foreign ministers purposely exclude Hillary from the groups’ plans or did Hillary unilaterally decide to ignore the wishes of the rest of attendees?

As an American, I’m not sure which of the two options I prefer to be the truth.

    1. I thought so too, but if you look closely, the woman on Hillary’s left has visible buttons where most of the rest of the people have a flap over the buttons, so the shirts aren’t actually identical.

      1. That woman’s shirt is also short-sleeved–it looks, on closer inspection, like the two of them are the only one that didn’t wear the same as everyone else.

  2. I will demonstrate heroic restraint here and refrain from posting the obligatory “KHAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!” reference.

    What?

  3. Star Trek villain? Hillary is one of three people who appear to be giving (or trying to give) the Vulcan salute.

I have to wonder why a group of foreign ministers would be dressed in uniform shirts to begin with. They look like doctors.

The men’s shirts are not merely the same color; they appear to be the same style. They must have been issued by the conference organizers.

The women’s shirts appear to be a different style. No breast pocket. I wonder if someone just failed to order the right number of women’s shirts.

      1. “I had looked at pictures of some of the previous APEC meetings and some of the garb that had appeared previously, and I thought this may be a tradition that we might want to break,” Obama said. “We gave them a shirt, and if they wanted to wear the shirt, I promise you it would have been fine. But I didn’t hear a lot of complaints about us breaking precedent on that one.”

        1. Do not imagine, comrades, that leadership is a pleasure. On the contrary, it is a deep and heavy responsibility. No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?

  4. She’s just as homely when she’s wearing her G20 Villain Suit, as when she dresses for everyday work in her regular villain suit.

  5. What I find reassuring about this photo is that if we ever get a one-world government organized along the lines of the EU, the common man can rest assured that he would never be expected to surrender his dignity and conform to some ridiculous plan just because some one in charge thought it would be a good idea, because the cosmocrats who would run such a government would *never* allow themselves to be treated in such a way, and could thus be counted upon to stop cold such things from ever happening…

  6. As far as Hillary’s outfit:

“It was twenty years ago today, Sgt Pepper taught the band to play…”
