Explained. Ideally, you’d have a similar setup for a spacecraft, but it would add weight. Lynx is single pane, AFAIK. I don’t know about SpaceShipTwo.

I was under the impression Lynx had an inner pressure vessel and outer unpressurized pane as well. May have changed since I heard that.
That’s a different concept than this.
