Good progress
I wonder if someone is this close to growing a lung.
The Texas Heart Institute this with a cow heart a few years ago – grew it on a pig heart substrate, implanted it into a cow, and it worked alongside the cow’s original heart until the protocol called for euthanizing the cow. They are also working on kidneys and other organs.
