  1. Couric is a perfect example of the Peter Principle, someone who has risen to (well beyond really) her own level of mediocrity. The idea that she might feel intellectually superior to any member of the primate family is laughable. That’s what makes Logan’s take down so delicious. A former (and current) news twinkie got schooled by the new girl.

    BTW, I think others here are right, Logan will not last at CBS.

  4. I’d have a strange new respect for James Carville, the way he’s been criticizing Obama lately, if I didn’t suspect he’s still working for the Clintons.

  6. Bilwick1, I think Carville is a case of local issues superseding partisan politics PLUS Clinton loyalty. The two in this case are not mutually exclusive.

    You forget, it’s okay to “see the light” when there’s a Democrat in the White House. Clinton killed lots of civilians with his bombing in Kosovo with minimal flak from the MFM. Now BHO is getting the same courtesy.

    Yep, ABC news went back to one particular story in 2007. Why 2007? Oh yeah, Bush was in office then. It doesn’t matter that BHO has now authorized the targetting of US civilians and otherwise assassinating people with drones. They respect Obama.

  12. Rand, maybe Lara Logan is a South African patriot – one with a long view. Muslims are a threat to any non-Muslim country, although more immediate in some cases than in others. And there is at least one black African country (black meaning negroid, not skin colour) with quite a lot of Muslims. And it’s quite a big one – Nigeria.

    Everyone ought to remember that the war that has so far lasted for 1388 years will continue until either Islam makes the entire world submit to Satan a.k.a. Allah, or they are all dead, or Islam changes enough so that it is no longer the Islam of today. Coexistence is impossible – and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. Or to use an old KGB term, a useful idiot.

    It could be argued that the entire West is dhimmi. After all, you pay jizyah every time you use a gasoline pump or fill your central heating tank.
