  1. Unfortunately, California’s government seems more intractable than any of the Eastern European governments. And the incoming governor is more Honecker than Gorby. (Not that Gorby was a prize, but…)

  2. I’m seeing more and more Californian refuges in Texas.

You might want to consider erecting a fence or something. When I was transferred to Colorado in 1985, I often saw bumper stickers that read, “Don’t Californicate Colorado.” Unfortunately, they did. They left California complaining of high taxes and began demanding the same wasteful government spending that caused the high taxes. Don’t let them do the same thing to Texas.

  3. I hear you, Larry. The good news is most of them are flocking to Austin, which is already weird and lost. Of course, Austin being the seat of government, that’s also bad news in that many will become the same teet sucking bureaucrats they were in California.

  4. What are the chances of getting a constitutional amendment removing voting rights from anybody that lives in a city of a million or more? We might have to send them tickets for a world cruise vacation so we can get it done. Or perhaps we could not tell anyone in the media and have the vote without them? Make every big city a protectorate.
