  1. Given that the amount that could be in theory spent on health care is without an upper bound, the political debate over health care has just begun, and it will go on forever, and this is a feature, not a bug.

The costs will get out of hand, and the Repubs will be voted in to straighten things out, only they will be the stone-hearted meanies that insure that the Dems get voted back in to restore the benefits, and the cycle will continue forever. The political nature of health care, however, will guarantee permanent minority status for the ‘Pubs except for brief intervals they will be voted in to enact necessary cuts and take the blame.

      Yup, this. ^^

It is sort of like Obama going to war in these various countries with drones and what not. Republicans will be ok with it because they want to take out AQ types and dictators and Democrats, who are anti-war, will over look these adventures temporarily until a Republican is in office then its back to riots in the streets.

  2. If the 18th amendment to the Constitution can be repealed – an actual amendment to the Constitution – then a silly law can be as well.

  3. Haha you silly baggers. It is the law of the land, upheld by your precious corporate owned Supreme Court. You can’t change it, it’s the law, and that law means that Obama can change anything he wants with a phone and a pen.

  4. The following comment, in the comments section of the Protein Wisdom blog regarding King Barry’s “the debate is over” pronunciamento, made me laugh out loud–and it’s funny ’cause it’s true!

“Doesn’t anybody remember anything anymore? Obama’s declarations are modeled on yippie street theater sh/t that leftists used 35 years ago. Same old absurd sh/t, now with AUTHORITY. “
