Yes, ladies, we really do think that some of you wear too much.
I’ve always assumed that women are really dressing and making up for other women, not men. But it doesn’t help that the fashion industry is so dominated by men who are attracted to men (or boys), not women.
This has sort of become a running joke between me and my wife. “HEY I have an idea. Let the hetero guy pick what the pretty girls wear” to which she responses “We still need to wear SOME clothes.”
I see no problems with this idea as long as she has a wide brim hat to keep her from burning. (note: she doesn’t wear much makeup and no perfume at all: Thank God!)

Most the women I know where makeup to make themselves feel better when they look in the mirror. I kinda figured that out in my late 20s.. women feel things about stuff.. and especially about their own appearance, abilities and social acceptance. Cosmetics are about control, which is a typical response people, men and women, have to feeling ways about stuff.
