Hillary’s FBI Investigation

The results could leak:

Later the same month Herridge reported an intelligence source saying there was “incredulity” about what was “being discovered.” And more recently we’ve seen former FBI agents write a letter to Director Comey urging him not to let politics interfere with the case, as if there was some ambient concern, perhaps filtering to them from current agents, that interference might happen.

Again, all of this is reading between the lines, but it does appear there is some sense within the FBI that the evidence is there to move forward assuming political influence doesn’t win the day. And if so, this may be a sort of warning from the rank-and-file who don’t want politics taking precedence here. The message is: you won’t be able to bury this.

But they’ll try.

  1. That she isn’t behind bars (a long time ago) tells us all we need to know about how far we’ve fallen.

If we could just stop the tax money flow to the left they would cease to exist.

    1. Really? Was there much “tax money flow to the left” in 1900? There certainly was a “left” then, by some measures it was more powerful than it is today.

  2. So the problem then isn’t receiving e-mail not-marked-classified-but-was-under-double-secret-classification-because-everyone-would-be-in-jail-because-everyone-has-done-that? The real problem is that the Secretary “has been bought”?

Good. I like that. That seals the deal. If she has been bought, that means she won’t go, can’t go all Hugo Chavez on our backsides.. If she has been bought, she won’t do anything crazy like ending fracking as her opponent is threatening, and that is a Good Thing ™.

  3. They will have to “leak” if the they are to become known.

Hillary winning the election nullifies this issue, every much as did Bill’s acquittal in the Senate nullify his crime of perjury. And that’s our fault. For not having subsequently removed every senator that voted to acquit Bill Clinton and for telling those that have died to protect the secrets of the United States that Hillary is more important than they ever were….

  4. It is still possible that the party leadership, who has never liked the Clintons, is waiting until she has the nomination locked up and will then “persuade” the president to sic the Justice Department on her. Then they can go to the convention and nominate the Democratic version of a “reasonable” candidate without the overwhelming negatives and baggage of their current front-runners. Cuomo, maybe, or one of the other governors.

    1. This is along the lines of what I’ve been predicting for months.

The Obamas and Valerie Jarrett don’t want Hillary and especially Bill to be the powers in the Democratic Party after Obama is out of office; you can be assured that Bill’s words during the 2008 campaign haven’t been forgotten. So we get to the convention; Hillary is nominated. A few days later, Hillary has an emergency meeting with AG Lynch, somebody from the White House (probably not Obama or Jarrett though; they will want their hands clean), and a Democratic Party bigwig (pun partially intended) like Debbie W-S. Hillary will be told that there is enough evidence to indict, and that the whole thing is just too public to make it go away – it would reek of corruption and spell the death knell of the Democratic hopes for 2016. She will be told that she is being replaced as the Democratic nominee by…Joe Biden. If she goes along, she either won’t be indicted or will be allowed to plead to a misdemeanor, and will be fully pardoned at 11:59 am on January 20, 2017. If she doesn’t go along, then Lynch will announce the indictment she has in her briefcase at a press conference the next morning, and Hillary won’t have a chance at a plea or pardon later.

Far fetched? Maybe. But it’s been clear all along that Hillary’s tenure as SecState was a “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” deal, and that Obama would prefer to have the Democratic Party in the hands of anybody but the hated Clintons – who better that dirty Uncle Joe? If there really is solid evidence against Hillary, it’s something that must be used at exactly the right time to sink the Clintons once and for all while staving off irreparable damage to the party. Biden coming in as the untainted white knight, maybe even with Fauxahontas as VP…what a way for Obama to continue his legacy.

As an aside, if there is a smoking gun, I expect it to be that Pagliano will corroborate that Hillary directed her staff – specifically him and Huma – to retype material from the classified systems to unclassified. They should already have the audit trail time stamps showing somebody logged into the classified systems at a specific computer at a specific time, and 20 minutes later an email sent on unclassified to Hillary; Pagliano will be testifying that Hillary directed this. The combination of the time stamps and his testimony should be unassailable and get it past the “honest mistake” defense. It’s possible that Huma will be pressed to sell out Hillary too. I’m obviously speculating, but if the leaks so far are accurate (a big if, I know), this seems to be the way it will go down.

      1. The ol Biden switcheroo at the last moment has always been at the top of my wacky conspiracy list. A Biden vs Trump election would lower the national IQ 10 points.

    2. But if you were part of the Dem machine that wanted someone other than Hillary or Bernie, would you wait until the convention?

Wouldn’t it have been better to sink her in February?

      1. The idea with the late sinking is for Biden not have to go through a primary campaign. That’s really why he didn’t run in the first place. And with Bernie being a semi-credible candidate, knocking out Hillary prior to the convention gives him the nomination. So I predict it will happen within days of the convention concluding.

Also, later means less time for the Republicans to get spooled up on oppo research.

        1. I see your point about not wanting Biden to go through a Primary……

But I suspect there’s plenty of oppo research handy

        2. But do you really think that in Obama’s mind, Biden is the best champion for the Obama legacy?
