  1. Of course she doesn’t believe it, but it sounded good at the time. Since the press isn’t going to focus on it (they are too busy covering whatever stupid shit Trump is saying) she knows she can lie with impunity. The story of the Clintons in a nutshell.

    1. they are too busy covering whatever stupid shit Trump is saying

It doesn’t even matter if Trump isn’t saying any stupid shit at the time, they fabricate it anyway. Must be nice to own the media like Erdogan in Turkey.

  2. It’s evidence of a new kind of fascism. In the old kind the fascists had to threaten the media to propagate the BIG LIE. Now the media aren’t just willing accomplices but often take the lead.

The day may come when such treason is understood for what it is and penalties will follow. As long as none are held accountable they have no reason to change… even a perverse incentive.

On 9-12-2001, most went into hiding for a short time. It may take events of a longer duration to do the cleaning job. The bad news is the destruction that can occur will take less time than that required to cleanup. I’m not advocating anything except be prepared… sudden destruction is the future.

    It all starts with lies.

    1. Major news figures have shown a willingness to go along to get access. If Trump treats crooked reporters as he does the rest of his critics maybe we’ll see a shift in the media.

  3. Sigh. Anyone could have beaten Clinton this time, but instead the Republican Party (or a sizable chunk of it) decided to throw a tantrum. The Democrats did too with Bernie Sanders, but they have super-delegates and a National Committee that fixes things. Probably wise.
The MSM is no longer bothering to say that Clinton is any good. Why should they? Trump insists on showing that no matter how bad Clinton is, he can look worse. How many of us are sitting here gritting our teeth, _waiting_ for him to notice that fighting with the family of a war hero is a bad idea?

    1. Didn’t Trump expressly state, he never says sorry, he never says he was wrong. A story I read yesterday says he is not longer interfacing with staff it is done through emails now…he just doesn’t want to hear it anymore.

    2. Trump insists on showing that no matter how bad Clinton is, he can look worse.

This is the LIE. We collectively are falling for it. The media is calling the shots and the idiot republican elite are falling in line.

This gold star family isn’t what it’s claimed to be. That constitution he was waiving was nothing more than a prop. He’s a lawyer that wants to replace the constitution with sharia. His law firm works to bring Muslims, terrorists or not (it doesn’t matter as long as they’ve got the bucks and outrageously we taxpayers funnel money to those terrorists) into this country. The presidents first job, specified in the constitution, includes protecting us from harmful immigrants which many presidents have done in American history (regardless of actual outcome.)

Instead of getting into a lather about how inarticulate Trump is; How about some conservatives that have the language gifts making the conservative argument for Trump to counter the dem media BS? You don’t have to like Trump to show you actually do believe in the first amendment instead of just pretending you do.

I am absolutely disgusted with those blinded by the same tactics they’ve been using against us for a generation. Disgusted and pissed.

    3. “Sigh. Anyone could have beaten Clinton this time, but instead the Republican Party (or a sizable chunk of it) decided to throw a tantrum.”

Yes. The GOP acted like stupid children (as usual). They couldn’t swallow their pride, give up on Jeb, and back a sure winner – several of those candidates could have utterly trounced Hillary easily.

      But no.

And you know what the worst part is:

If (when) Trump loses the GOP will say, “See? The rabble selected a moron and we lost the White House. It’s a good thing we never listen to the rabble. And we will continue to ignore them.”

      1. And Jeb would never have had a chance against Hillary. Between having to choose family legacy of Clinton or Bush, the majority will not select a third Bush Presidency over just doing Hillary to get the first woman President out of the way. Another Bush domestic fiscal policy? I’d prefer it over Clinton, but most won’t. Another Bush foreign policy, he’d be raked over the coals more than Trump.

    4. but they have super-delegates and a National Committee that fixes things.

Why even bother having elections? Just let the party bosses pick who is leader like they do in Iran and China.

How many of us are sitting here gritting our teeth, _waiting_ for him to notice that fighting with the family of a war hero is a bad idea?

Do you really think that the media wouldn’t be campaigning against Trump if he was to do something different on any given issue?

It is just like attacks of all non-Democrats being racist. There is nothing that can be done to prevent that attack from being used. The accusation is the strategy and the accusation isn’t a response to any legitimate grievance.

It doesn’t matter what Trump does or doesn’t do. The Democrat media will always frame what is going on according to the narrative that Hillary wants them to.

      1. Hillary has been lying to the families of war heroes going on 4 years now. Media; “yawn”. Ask war heros, particularly those wounded in action relying on the VA to take care of them, how are they treated by the Obama Administration. Media; “yawn”.

But give CNN, who thinks Phelps should hand over his white privilege to carry the US flag at the Olympics to a hajib wearing Muslim woman, a Muslim family to clutch pearls over; and they will report on it like it is a missing 777. Not like a 777 shot down by Russians, because that’s not interesting.
