For the National Cathedral (which is wonderful, by the way) I would suggest gargoyles of the Democrat Pantheon: Bill, Hillary, Reid, Pelosi, Obama (both of them), Occasional Cortex, etc. It would certainly provide a symbolic lesson in all that is evil to the current illiterate (i.e. all of) Washington DC. It just might be too horrifying for small children, however.
