One thought on “Europe’s Jew Hatred”

  1. I’m at a loss to understand hatred of the Jews, despite having been raised by someone who did. To my father’s credit, he never tried to impose his prejudice on me, but did explain its origin (years before, when in desperate need, he pawned something to a Jewish pawnbroker, and got a deal they both knew was raw).

I have Jewish relatives by marriage, and many Jewish friends. I’ve attended bar and bat mitzvahs, and Jewish funerals. I find Jewish religious ceremonies fascinating and refreshing in their worldly wisdom. And I am an atheist. If I were to ever be compelled to join a religion (assuming it was open enrollment in all of them), I’d pick Judaism in a heartbeat. What in the world is it that compels so many Gentiles to hate them so much? I’d really like to know.
