  1. The threats against the whistleblowers… Isn’t that obstruction of justice (as well as a violation of the whisleblowers statute)? And isn’t that what Nixon was accused of doing?

What did the president know and when did he know it?

If it can be proven that Obama was involved in this obstruction of justice, extortion against the whistleblowers, plus suborning perjury, that easily rises to the level of “High crimes and misdemeanors”.

  2. No tapes, and the right-thinking people have “gotten” to Bob Woodward . . .

      1. The ad hominem fallacy applies to logical arguments, not allegations of fact. When a news organization makes a factual claim based on an anonymous source, it is entirely appropriate to ask how well the organization distinguishes fact from rumor when using or abusing such sources. Fox’s credulous reports of phantom Spectres over Benghazi are quite relevant to their most recent claims.

        1. “I did not have sex with that woman!”
“If you like your plan, you can keep it!”
          “What Operation Gunwalker?”
          Want me to go on?

  3. “Benghazi was a long time ago”…. but I guess the Bush admin must be far more recent, which is why they keep blaming Bush for things….

    1. That “was a long time ago” is especially rich coming from people who revel in the supposed “racism” of Republicans back in the 1950s and 1960s and earlier.

  4. (makes waving motion with hand and speaks in a low voice)

. . . these are not the State Department and CIA employees you are looking for . . .

  5. Ya know….., when some race-baiting politician starts whining about slavery in America’s past, the response should be “That happened a long time ago. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES THAT MAKE NOW?”

    1. Indeed, we should write letters to the Justices regarding the Voting Rights Act case (Northwest Austin Municipal Utility District Number One v. Holder) noting exactly that.
