Snowboarding Women

…and unisex slopes:

The true feminist will blithely have it both ways, indifferent to the contradiction: The unisex course is sexist because it injures women and trying to protect women from injury is sexist. Likewise, feminists toggle at will between the position that there should be gender quotas for women in political positions, say, because females bring a special sensibility to political problems, and the position that men and women are identical in every way and thus that any disparities in outcomes — whether in advanced math and physics attainment or in the predilection for public debate — must be the result of sexism. As injuries build up for female combat soldiers, expect to see the same confused thinking. The Army will be blamed for not doing enough to protect females while also being pressured to pretend that females are the absolute equal of men and thus need no protection.

Leftists never have problems with that sort of cognitive dissonance.

  1. The solution is obvious: in future, everyone will compete on unisex, womyn-friendly courses.

Similarly, in future, America will only be allowed to compete in unisex, womyn-friendly wars.

    1. “Professor Dr Farooq Hamada, said: ‘Protecting life against all possible dangers and keeping it safe is an issue agreed upon by all religions and is clearly stipulated in verse 4/29 of the Holy Quran: Do not kill yourselves or one another. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.’”

I sprayed beer all over my monitor.

      1. I used to love reading “Ask an imam” in the Saudi papers. One that stuck in my head was a guy who wrote in to ask if he could do both of his wives at once. The cleric said that it was clearly forbidden because women aren’t allowed to see other women’s bodies from the neck to the knees. So I immediately thought of writing in and saying “Well, both of my wives are blind” or perhaps something along the lines of “Can’t I blindfold them? What if I turn out the lights?” Sadly, I realize now that had I done so, he would’ve said it’s permissible to do a threesome if both wives are blind, but not if they’re just blindfolded because of the temptations, and then we’d have had thousands of horror stories about men blinding both their wives with battery acid.

        1. I remember reading in those once of the story of Mohammed and the mountain. Because he couldn’t move the mountain, it was said to be a sign not that he really couldn’t do anything through Allah, but that Allah had shown he would not let him do anything foolish. And, this was thus proof that he had Allah’s favor. I think I suffered a mini-stroke after that, and vowed never to read such stories ever again.

    2. The astronauts, the committee said, would end up dying for no ‘righteous reason’ and would face the same punishment in the afterlife as someone who’d committed suicide.

They’re nervous. If they were confident in this fatwa the number 72 would appear somewhere.
