  1. Identity politics will wedge Democrats but Russian Collusion isn’t dead. We all know it will live on for as long as humans can communicate. But in the near term, we see SC staff coordinating with the media to create a narrative about their report.

People have said that Republicans suddenly love Mueller and Democrats suddenly hate him. No. The Mueller investigation did as much as possible to damage and destroy Trump and the SC was stacked with DNC operatives with conflicts of interest.

My prediction is that the report was written in such a way that it will allow Democrats to continue to claim there was Russian Collusion and obstruction of justice. The Democrats will rally and Maddow’s ratings will go back up. The media will ignore investigations into abuses by Obama’s CIA, NSA, DOJ, State, and UN and frame it as tyrant Trump illegally going after political opponents.

These people staged a coup. It is still ongoing. They wont give up the game even if people go to jail.

Yes. They seem to be working on the argument that the mere fact of their (Trump Jr. Manafort, etc) having the meeting with the Russian lawyer who claimed (erroneously) to have “dirt” on Hillary Clinton is collusion in and of itself. That is the “intent” to “work” with the Russians by having such a meeting in the first place is “collusion” regardless of how said meeting turned out.

Yes again. But Trump should go after them anyway and expose their egregious abuses of power to the American people and prosecute said offenses to the degree the law allows. For the sake of the Republic if nothing else.
