  1. The sun’s weakening magnetic field allows more particles from deep space into the solar system, boosting radiation levels in Earth’s atmosphere. Indeed, this is happening now with atmospheric cosmic rays at a 5-year high and flirting with their own Space Age record. It’s something to think about the next time you step on an airplane.

TSA discourages wearing overly baggy clothing during the airport screening process. Instead it is recommended you fold your RAD-suit into a clear plastic bag and put it on the scanning tray and don it after passing through security. Although you may still be spot checked if you do so. Wearing a respirator is not recommended at any time. I would recommend a doctor’s note kept in the pocket of the suit. Also notable, parachutes CAN be brought on as a carry on item as long as it is properly packed (separately) and passed through the checkpoint xray via tray and not worn at the time of screening. See para: “Parachutes” below…

    1. Also prohibited as a carry on item is the Magic 8 Ball. Must be in checked baggage. Please refer to the TSA website for details.

  2. It is a good thing that the big fusion reactor in the sky doesn’t have any impact on say, climate, or anything like that….
