  1. The Chief Justice doesn’t think Trump has the right to face his accuser? That a President can be removed from office based on anonymous allegations?

If the Republicans don’t use this to go after them (break them) then they deserve to be a permanent also ran party. There will be calls post Trump acquittal to let it go; “It will tear the country apart if you pursue them, let’s put it behind us etc.” Hope they don’t heed that. This was obviously an attempted coup it needs to be fully exposed and the culprits like Schift/Nadler/Pelosi etc. removed from Congress at the least, if not tried/convicted imprisoned. And I am speaking as someone who voted overwhelmingly Democrat for most of my voting life. I voted for Obama in 2008; (Gary Johnson in 2012) finally Trump in 2016.

  3. Remember Dr. Stephen Hatfill being falsely accused as the source of the anthrax letters?

If we are going to subpoena “The Whistleblower” as a witness, which should have been done already, that is one thing. What Rand Paul attempted is another.

    1. To elaborate: I would like the US Senate Judicial Committee to have a long, extensive and gory autopsy of how Adam Schiff and his apparatchiks turned their (quote) Inquiry (un-quote) into this farce. Starting with “What did you know about the ‘whistle blower’ and when did you know it?”

  4. The secondary goal of the Senate trial was to distract the judicial committee from getting judges approved. Getting into the weeds on this would be a win for the impeachniks. I put it on the House Reps to dig up the dirt, maybe push for some censure votes to make sure the voters don’t forget what happened come November. Leave Cocaine Mitch to restoring sanity in the judicial branch.
