  1. What difference do polls make when you can steal elections? What make you think the dem care what the people actually want? That’s the point of passing laws requiring mail in ballots sent to people who didn’t request them, ballot canvasing automatic voter registration etc.

  2. He who own the most printing presses wins. I understand you can have preprinted ballot forms printed for cheap cheap in Malaysia and direct mailed to the US on container ships. Republicans take note. You can settle the election by September 15th!

Actually make that the first Tuesday in October! 🙂

  3. A meaningful election reform would be to move the inauguration date back to its original date in March. That would give time for election challenges to proceed where they belong, not in the Federal courts but in the State legislatures. In a perfect world a State legislature could pass a bicameral binding resolution declaring its election invalid and proceed to conduct a new election within 30 days. It could only declare once per election cycle. Thus if declared once the second election result is final. By moving the inauguration date back it would allow enough time for this process to complete. Could short circuit many shenanigans.

But of course the best reform would be ballots with serial numbers with numbered tear off tabs allowing a voter to take with them as proof. Voter ID is checked before ballot is placed in box and counted. Then there would be no reason not to publish the anonymous serialized ballots on-line for voters to check. If an election is declared invalid the voter can simply present his/her receipt at the next election if he/she wishes to keep their vote the same or ask for a new serialized ballot to replace the old one. Any uncertified ballots are not recounted.

  4. There are many ways one can do it honestly, but the powers that be prefer to get the results that they want, and so we have the ridiculous system that we just experienced.
