    1. The music could be dubbed in, stuff like that is common, but just some people shooting their weapons? Has to be a lot of footage of that out there.

      1. Music definitely dubbed, would be listening to the Track Commander. As much fun as it would be to fly an A-10 blasting AC/DC while lighting-up the baddies, you would be listening to your wingman and the Forward Air Controller foremost, not your Iron Eagle VII soundtrack mix tape.

  1. Not a Soviet/Russian tank. T64, T70, and T80 have main gun autoloaders.

Also, look at the elevation of the cannon. Likely not firing in direct fire mode.

    Likely an SP Arty piece.

    1. Comments to that effect in the thread, it does indeed seem to be artillery rather than a tank.

(Half the western commentators call any armored vehicle a tank, whether it’s a real tank, APC, or self propelled artillery, so I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised).

I’m also dubious about a medic with 5 magazines of what looks to me like SMG ammunition and I think a light machine gun in her lap, but adding weapons for a pic wouldn’t be surprising either…

      1. The gun in the pic is a Kriss Vector CRB, which takes extended Glock magazines. The company is headquartered in Switzerland and the Vectors retail for about $1500 in the US. I started a long discussion about it in an Instapundit thread, as everybody debated the merits of short-barreled submachine guns. Someone eventually said that they were noticing something else in the picture, so I said “Ah, so you noticed it too. Right next to the ambulance driver is a shovel. Ukrainian ambulance crews have to use shovels to load up the victims of Russian attacks!”

        1. I wouldn’t want to go to war with a PCC and I can’t think there are many situations worth the trading down in capability. The barrel lengths used are well established and even though the shortest allow for more manueverability, many settle on something a few inches longer that is more useful in more situations.

IIRC the SEALs use Sig Rattlers now chambered in .300 blackout, which depending on how you have it configured, can be a SBR, a pistol, or a regular rifle. Even though the ratler is a sexy beast, it’s just another AR style platform and considering how small these rifles can get, there are few advantages to using a PCC of similar size.

I still want one though lol.

  2. I really don’t care about whether it’s fake or not. It was a whole lot of fun to watch!

    1. Pretty cool how everyone has the bloodlust for war porn when Americans are not allowed to cheer on for their country the same way.

I say that also liking the video but I also can’t ignore the larger picture and what is taking place.

  3. That “combat” medic sure is pretty, and clean. Things have really changed since I was in the military. There is no way in the world anyone in the combat units I was in were that clean after 1 day, let alone after 60+ days of operations.

    1. When just about every Ukrainian city is getting hit with the occasional Russian missile, and there’s a huge military expansion, lots of EMTs and nurses end up in military gear, just like Britain in WW-II.
