I had the good fortune to meet David Horowitz at a fundraiser for Congressman Jim Rogan back in the 1990s. It was evident on a casual basis that he was a powerhouse of intellect, and for a few minutes I had the privilege of just putting out questions and in response listening to some of the deepest analyses I’ve ever heard.
There is one quote from him that I consider the single best summary of socialism I have ever read: “In the vast library of socialist books, there’s not a single volume on how to create wealth, only how to take and “redistribute” it.”
A great asset to the cause of liberty. Had an interesting background.
No one knows the enemy like someone who used to be the enemy.

RIP, Mr. Horowitz. You are sorely missed.
