Indicting Barack?

How it might be done.

One can dream.

After what Bongino said recently, I wonder if there is any possibility of getting at the truth of what happened during the Clinton administration, including the Foster “suicide,” even if no one is indicted?

[Afternoon update]

Definitely: Gina Haspel should be investigated for covering up the Russia-collusion hoax.

[Tuesday-morning update]

The Russia-collusion hoax was worse than you think.

IDK, I think it was pretty bad. On the other hand, I continue to think it hyperbolic to call it “treasonous.” Seditious, yes, but not that.

  1. How it might be done.

This link is to a paywalled Substack blog. The video clip of Stefanik taking testimony from Comey was entertaining. Care to summarize the “how it might be done” part for us cheapskates?

    1. Sorry about that; I didn’t follow the link myself. But Instapundit has this quote: “What if the investigation into a criminal conspiracy surrounding the Russia Collusion Hoax was not about the hoax itself, but instead looks at the ongoing effort to mislead or otherwise obstruct Congress from finding out how the Hoax itself came about, and interfere with congressional investigations into the conduct and the motives of the various actors involved?”

      1. Given Obama’s personality his sense of entitlement and his belief in his own moral superiority you could probably give him immunity from prosecution then he couldn’t plead the fifth and or presidential executive privilege. Then subpoena ask him questions about things he did both before and after his POTUS tenure like did you knowingly propagate in concert with others what you knew to be not correct allegations to damage Trump’s presidency etc he wouldn’t admit that he did he basically would lie under oath; perjury. Of course doubt a DC jury would convict.

  2. including the Foster “suicide,”

Was it three shots to the back of the head or only two? I forget…

    1. The left has Trump Derangement Syndrome; the right has Clinton Derangement Syndrome.

        1. It is my belief that Foster’s death was a suicide and that the Clintons had no hand in it. The notion that the Clintons murder people to silence them is foolishness with no more basis than some peoples’ disdain for the Clintons.

The Clintons are almost certainly conventionally corrupt, as are most politicians. Hillary Clinton is certainly not deranged in any clinical sense of the term.

          1. The Foster investigation was so badly fucked up that it’s impossible to say what happened to him, but from the evidence I’ve seen, it’s almost vanishingly unlikely that he died in the park.

I didn’t say that Hillary was deranged. But she has committed multiple felonies, certainly with the server.

          2. …It is my belief that Foster’s death was a suicide…
Oh, so only one shot to the head then?

          3. I’ll never forget the moment when I started doubting the Foster suicide narrative. I was driving through the wide open nothingness of Utah, on business travel, and managed to tune in G. Gordon Liddy’s radio talk show (which was always excellent the few times I heard it). Vince Foster’s suicide at that time was being called into question in a way that the media couldn’t just ignore. Liddy was dismissive of the idea that Foster was murdered. Then someone called in to his show and in a two Q and A exchange, started him thinking. It went like this:

Caller: “How long did you live in Washington DC?”
            Liddy: “About 25 years.”
Caller: “Do you know where Fort Marcy Park is?”
Liddy: (After a long pause, and very soberly) “No.”

Vince Foster moved to Washington DC in sometime after January 20 1993, to take a job as deputy White House counsel. The White House job was high pressure, and left him little free time. His recreation was playing tennis. He was found dead July 20 1993 in Fort Marcy Park.

I’ve been visiting DC for work since 1987, and lived in “the DMV” since 2008. I once passed a sign for Fort Marcy Park in 2006, while a friend was driving me to from a meeting in DC to BWI. The beltway was a parking lot, so he took a circuitous route I couldn’t reproduce today, though I’ve navigated this whole area for 38 years.

Out of curiosity one day a couple of years ago, I did some research. Foster lived in an apartment in Georgetown. In order to get to Fort Marcy Park, he had to drive through two other parks, or take a very long detour around them. Fort Marcy Park’s only distinction from the other two is that it is closer to CIA headquarters.

None of it makes any sense.

  3. Obama alleged actions to propagate the hoax was done while he was president; so he would be protected by “executive privilege” and/or “immunity”. The investigation into the hoax was done sometime after he left office–true; but what has Obama done personally post presidency that one could reasonable called “obstruction”? He would have to be subpoenaed disposed under oath and commit perjury; don’t see that happening he would merely reply “executive privilege” to any question he didn’t want to answer.

    1. So let’s say Obama gets convicted for crimes committed after he left office. And then once Trump’s term is up, the Georgia prosecution of election interference resumes as a State case.

Could we arrange it so Obama and Trump share a cell? We could call it a bi-partisan reformatory.
