Rubio has not looked happy in any recent photos on the subject of Iran. It does appear that there is a split in the administration, with Rubio, Hegseth, and Ratcliff opposing the MOU, and Vance and Witcoff in favor. It certainly appears to be an inexplicable surrender to the IRGC, and nothing that Trump has said about it makes any sense. He apparently doesn’t understand what the word “surrender” means, let alone unconditionally. And Vance’s BS berating of Israel isn’t helpful, either.
Again it looks like Vance et al are carrying the water to extricate this administration from Iran, open the Straight and get gas prices back down before the mid-term elections.
No wars used to be a MAGA perogative. Will it remain so? Shall the meek inherit MAGA? Will MAGA matter in 2028?
