  1. The Feminists will go apeshit over that, including the Republican ones. They’ve never been about gender equality before and they aren’t about to start now.

  2. Males do not have any offices of men’s health in the Department of Health and Human Services. But females have five offices of women’s health strategically located at the FDA, the NIH, the CDC, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health.

    Beam me up Scotty.

  3. I prefer a massive budget cut over the defeminization of the federal budget. Stabilize Medicare and Social Security. Halt the Fed’s continued “quantitative easing”. Moving some of the defense-related contracting back to the military (I haven’t been impressed by the cost of the Rumsfeld reforms). That’s just most of the big ticket items.

  4. Ann Coulter was absolutely right. Giving woman the vote was a huge blunder.

A sane society would look at the results and eliminate those programs. We are not a sane society.

  5. I’ve often thought about this. Breast and prostate cancer have roughly the same detection and mortality rates – and prostate cancer has a small fraction (25%) of the research budget. Admittedly, breast cancer is a tiny bit less gender-specific (maybe 0.7% of breast cancer cases are in men and obviously women don’t get prostate cancer) but this is quite odd to say the least.

Breast and prostate cancer both rank second in total mortality for their respective genders (lung cancer leads for both) so IMHO this is quite important.

Maybe it’s time to start a blue ribbon campaign.

  6. Well now, I have been married twice, widowed once and divorced once. Along the way I have raised five kids, three of whom are girls. Quite literally, from the cradle to the grave there is not much women can do to surprise me – with the possible exception of turning left when in charge of a motor vehicle and indicating an intention to turn left!

Along with Ken’s comment from Anne Coulter I would add that allowing women Drivers Licenses was as bad a move as giving them the vote!
