  1. I’m glad that a few people with knowledge of the system are finally speaking out about Hillary’s deception. The fact that her e-mails were not “classified” is total nonsense. If she revealed classified information in them, then they were in fact classified, but improperly marked (i.e. not at all). Going back and marking them as such after the fact isn’t “retroactive” classification. It’s correctly identifying information that should never have been in the clear in the first place.

The Secretary of State and the President, despite protestations that office confers no clearance, have the highest of anyone in the country. They receive the President’s Daily Brief (PDB), which contains Intelligence Community material that almost no one else is able to see. Only five people in the government are cleared to see the PDB, and Hillary was one. It’s not a matter of her having “confidential” or “secret” information to discuss in e-mails. She had TS/SCI/SI/GAMMA/HCS-O access among many other things, and those are what feed into the PDB. She didn’t just have the opportunity to reveal tiny little secrets. She had the ability to destroy nations with what she could have revealed – nations including our own. And until we know what she had on that server (which the Chinese undoubtedly do), we won’t know the full extent of the damage.

  2. LBJ barely made it into the White House ahead of his inevitable entanglement with the Bobby Baker investigation; he was able to limit it to Baker himself once he was in possession of the world’s largest favor bank. I’m sure that the Clintons are counting on that spider’s-thread themselves.
