    There are at least two recall efforts underway to remove Northam. I’m thinking of starting one specifically around his violation of the First and Second Amendments. In this state, it would have legs.

  3. The Hitler comparison thing goes all the way back to Nixon. It has continued because Hollywood is uneasy about using some groups as narrative antagonists lest they be accused of racism or sexism. They won’t use Communists because the 1940s Hollywood Reds are their artistic icons and have therefore been forced to use “Nazis” as a sort of all purpose antagonist in their story product. This has leaked over into the culture because everybody knows, thanks to Hollywood, that Nazis are the absolute worst thing you can be, creates an emotional reaction and whomever is called one will feel the sting.
