  1. AOC likes the abolitionists because she’s such a big fan of individual liberty.

    But seriously . , .

She needs to discover the work of of the 19th Century collectivist–later, I understand, a socialist–and apologist for antebellum slavery, George Fitzhugh. In many ways, the modern Left is merely echoing him.

  2. Why don’t they know about the history of their own party? Because Democrats control the education system, social historical institutions, and place like Wikipedia. With a little distortion and deception, they hide the past and scapegoat innocents.

Most don’t even know that their party mascot was an insult to describe their behavior, that of being a jackass, and that the party said, “Hell yeah!” From the ancient times right up until today, their mascot has been an accurate descriptor of how they act. It is kinda funny to see them get the how dare yous when they collectively act like a giant bag of…

    1. To be as ignorant as AOC requires an additional ingredient: an absolute lack of natural curiosity about the tales told to them. Most of the voters these days who know better than what public schools teach are also graduates of public schools. They simply failed to stop learning whn they graduated.

The Democrat base consists of people whose brains simply don’t work properly — the proof of which is that what they learned in school is all they ever have or ever will learn.

That is not a foundation on which to build sustainable political power, but the Democrats literally don’t know any better.

      1. Wasn’t she literally hired as an actress by the people who pushed her into Congress?

If I remember correctly, she won a primary where only a few thousand people voted, in a seat where a dead body could get elected if it ran as a Democrat.

  3. My take is that AOC is that she may be a gift to Republican fundraisers and could probably get her own page on Fox News, but little beyond that. She does not seem to get a lot of play on CNN and MSNBC and other “progressive” outlets, nor does she wield much power or influence with Democratic leadership. She is just one of the current boogie-men used to frighten conservatives, but is not really worth our time to talk about, just one mostly-silly vote out of 435.
