  1. Diana Rigg as Emma Peel was our generation’s Lara Croft. I was happy to read she died among loving family and friends.

  2. Best of the Bond Girls. She was also terrific in a BBC version of Midsummer Night’s Dream. Check out a rarely broadcast movie called In This House of Brede, where Rigg plays a nun who’s resented by an older more senior nun. Very good.

  3. One of the things about Diana Rigg was that a lot (most?) of the roles she played were of strong decisive women. Even as the Bond girl, she was a cut above Bond Girls in terms of power and decisiveness.
