  1. To the extent we allow them, right or left, to continue to add tax after tax (by any name) we don’t believe in private property either. We need the clarity of our founders that we have certainly lost.

  2. The term “tax expenditures” (coined decades ago by Ted Kennedy — 1,000 days sober today, congratulations!) says it all. If the government reduces taxes, it is an “expenditure” on its part. That is logically consistent if and only if all money in the possession of all taxable parties actually belongs to the government.

    1. Only if you can get a “democratic” majority to back you. Individuals have no rights in his world, only groups.
