For a popular article, it was pretty good. No major howlers that I saw. PJ is a helluva writer, but most who hang around here probably know that.
It made me think of combining Lynx with White Knight.
No. Neither design is optimized for the other. And although it is fine for the two companies to work together on such things as pumps and valves and thrusters, a collaboration like that would pretty much be a merger between the two companies. If anything, the industry needs more competition, not less.
