Comey And Mueller

McCabe just made life tougher for them. As though it wasn’t tough enough. And note: Turley is a life-long Democrat.

At this point, I’d be happy to see McCabe, Comey, and many others do time in Club Fed. It’s probably too much to ask, though.

[Monday-afternoon update]

A higher loyalty to their inflated sense of virtue.

I think a lot of leftist heads are going to explode when Horowitz’s report comes out, and they’re not even anticipating it, continuing to focus on the Trump/Russia chimera.

  1. It is possible that both McCabe’s statement that “It was not a secret, it took place over several days, and others, including the director, were aware of the interaction with the reporter. ” and Comey’s answer to Congress that he never ordered anyone to leak could be true. “Others” could be people above Comey, such as the AG. Time for a second special prosecutor.

  2. I think a lot of leftist heads are going to explode when Horowitz’s report comes out…

I think you meant to say implode.

  3. Mueller’s investigation into Trump collusion with Russia is a mistake.
There is no crime to investigate. And no evidence of the imaginary “crime” and is very
similar to a witch hunt. Except that in actual witch hunt there could be bad law which
is being followed, and there isn’t even a bad law which Mueller is following.
    Mueller is simply, wrong.

  4. The worse thing about Mueller is the idiot republicans saying it would be impeachable for Trump to put an end to it.

It’s all just noise. If they can’t stop such a ridiculous extra legal activity then they have no idea about scales and blindfolds.

Trump is being advised by a bunch of chicken-hearts. If he acted like he tweets his supporters would defend him like no politician has ever seen before. Americans are fed up.

    1. If Trump has a face to face with Mueller, Trump needs to open with a simple question: Does the special council and even one credible piece of evidence that a crime was committed by the Trump election campaign? If Mueller is honest and answers no, follow with Then why is there an ongoing investigation?

    2. The thing to keep in mind about impeachment is that the Constitution is deliberately vague about what is an impeachable offense.

The Founders preferred to leave it up to the two houses of Congress to define the high crimes and misdemeanors that would justify removing the President, and one of the complaints against Andrew Johnson in the Articles adopted by the House was that he gave speeches in a loud voice.

With the Senate certain to remain Republican after the November elections though, any impeachment effort is an exercise in futility anyway. I would expect Trump to act accordingly.

  5. The more information we get, the more it looks like McCabe, Comey, Clapper, and others in the Obama administration engineered the Russian collusion myth and the special council.

Manafort was charged with not registering as a foreign agent but at the time, he hired Fusion GPS. No one at Fusion GPS has been charged with anything. Fusion GPS used information from Russia and gathered by foreign agents to help the DNC and Hillary. The only instance of what appeared to be the willingness to collude was Trump Jr and Kushner meeting, which was set up by Fusion GPS.

It looks like the DOJ did something similar to get Sessions to recuse himself.

The DOJ and others in the Obama administration were also working with a complicit media to achieve their goals. McCabe wasn’t just talking to the media about the Hillary investigation. The most damning is how Clapper used the DNC/Hillary/Russian/British dossier in the media and now works for the same network he was colluding with, CNN.

The corruption here is widespread and doesn’t just involve the Obama administration but also the media. Who will report on the corruption of the media? It isn’t going to be CNN/MSNBC/NPR/CBS/ABC/NBC/ProPublica or anyone else.
