  1. When I see someone on X declaiming that it should be as hard to get a gun as it is to vote, I snicker…and wish that were true.

    1. Nothing quite like having the owner of the murder weapon traced to a cemetery plot.

  2. In Virginia, we have a special election going on right now on an initiative which will allow redistricting before the November mid-terms. Since the state flipped to “blue” in the last election, Democrats will do the redistricting, and are open about their intention to go from six Democratic and five Republican Representatives to 10 Democrats and one Republican. The House would then be lost to the Democrats, and chaos would reign. The wording of the ballot question is fraudulent: “Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?” and there is at least one case well-publicized case where an elderly Republican woman voted “yes” when she meant to vote against it. Every county conducts voting differently. Leftist Fairfax County has had early voting open for weeks. Prince William County, where I live, won’t start early voting until April 11. The actual election day is April 21. Though we are getting ready to leave the state, this has the potential to destroy the country.

    1. Saw that your governor wouldn’t allow the new map to be put on the voter information pamphlet.
