Leftists control CA, but the population (even in Los Angeles) is very conservative. Sacramento is a very conservative region but doesn’t really control the state. The left has always used the courts to subvert the people there. The media just makes it seem more extreme than it really is. …and, of course, there are loud enclaves that drive the narrative.
