  1. No FDA bureaucrat ever lost his performance bonus for being ‘cautious’.

    No matter who died.

    1. There must be an ironic “mother-in-law joke” in there somewhere.

It is claimed that the Biden administration changed a video from Dr. Fauci 1) warning about the more contagious Delta strain and 2) urged people to get vaccinated and asking people who are vaccinated that they should still avoid close contact in large crowds.

This over-caution did not sit well with the Administration’s message that if you are vaccinated, you can do whatever you want. So they changed the video.

I thought that “believe in the Science” was a thing?

I know my remarks will create cognitive dissonance in those who believe both the disease and the vaccine are a fraud, but most of us on Rand’s fine Web site were earnest about getting the vaccine?

That said, is anyone old enough to remember “my friends told me that if I voted for Goldwater, we would get a massive escalation of the Vietnam War resulting in a quagmire, I voted for him anyway, and I guess my friends were correct”?

  2. Doc beat me to it. The whole system punishes bureaucrats for taking action, of course they won’t do anything.

Especially since they’re paid the same either way.

  3. A relative of mine needs
multiple transplants. The situation has only strengthened my opinion that the whole system – if it can be called that – is ridiculous.

  4. The future of the Republic depends on repealing the Administrative Procedure Act, which allows the Executive branch of the government to establish agencies having the powers of all three branches of government. In other words, it undoes the entire American project by ditching the Constitution and its reliance on enumerated powers, and separation of powers. Every single “agency” needs to be disbanded, along with all of their regulations – no exceptions.

The American people can figure things out for themselves, and don’t need an overlord class of idiots who think they know what’s best for everyone dictating what is and is not allowed.

Fortunately for me, I was able to get an organ replacement on E-Bay. When my Wurlitzer went down, I was able to find a used one in good condition very quickly.

Did I just undercut my credibility?….
