The man should never have been charged in the 1st place; he is lucky he wasn’t murdered while being jailed in Rikers. With a 500K bail no less (later reduced to 50K). What has to go through the mind of District Attorney Alvin Bragg seeing that tape and responding with charging this man with 2nd degree murder?

Apparently according to the posted link it says he said that he didn’t actually see the tape before he charged him with murder 2. Of course that begs the question of why a DA wouldn’t look at said tape before making his decision; he couldn’t possibly have believed that no one else would or care.
Suppose the real moral of the story is make sure there is video tape evidence (security camera and/or Go-Pro etc.) before you use deadly force in self-defense, otherwise you are likely toast. Some kind of body-cam (with cloud backup) should be standard equipment for those who have to deal directly with the public and are subject to attempted robbery/assault.
Perhaps but we also have to consider that evidence doesn’t matter. Democrat jurisprudence isn’t based off equal application of laws or “the” law at all, just like they don’t believe in the legitimacy of the constitution, SCOTUS, our institutions, history, or the existence of the USA.
Notice how there are no hate crime prosecutions for the Democrats firebombing churches and religious affiliated pro-life centers?
In the Rittenhouse trial, the FBI withheld exonerating video and the prosecution introduced fabricated video as evidence. I think video could help people defend themselves but there are no guarantees.

But he can make some money fundraising off the California crowd that also back losers like Beto.
Throwing money at Gavin Newsom to get him out of State of California makes some sense, but why give any money to Beto?
