  1. Great op-ed and I fear the closing paragraph is spot on.

    On point on this,

“As soon as they can figure out a way to quarter soldiers in your homes and apartments, you can bet they will.”

Smart grid technology, Alexa, whatever Google calls their wiretap. Some of these things we invite into our house but others are requirements. Not all soldiers are flesh and blood, this is the 21st century. But with Democrat’s housing policies, it wouldn’t be surprising if people were forced to house their homeless militias and blackshirts.

    1. You don’t even need smart grid technology. FISA warrants allow the government to spy on you, which is the equivalent to quartering soldiers in your home. Specific to Mar-a-lago; Garland’s leaking FBI has claimed that the affidavit for the search warrant was based on insider information. Insider you say? You mean like someone quartered inside Mar-a-lago?

Sure, whistleblowers are a thing. 14 have reported wrongdoing in Wray’s FBI. Certainly, one can report wrongdoing at Trump’s estate. But here, the supposed wrongdoing was already known by the National Archives. Actions were already taken to secure the material and have it removed at some later date. A fair and legitimate FBI would have thanked the whistleblower for the information, contacted members of the Bureau and National Archives that were already looking into the matter, and then marked the tip confidential so as to protect the whistleblower while deciding to let the previous operation continue what it was doing.

New reports claim Garland deliberated on the matter of supporting the search. If true, then his decision is worse. Other options were available to him, not the least was verifying within the FBI and National Archives what was being done so far. He could have named a special counsel to review the matter. He could have tried to initiate the same arbitration to return the material that others had already initiated. Instead, he decided to act in an overtly political manner. He’s a disgrace and should resign his post.

If you happen to live in government owned/paid for housing is it really “your home and apartment” in the first place? You could start with in-house security both human an/or electronic and move up from there.
