I’ve thought about coming out as a gay woman of color, but it’s not transgressive enough. So I’m thinking of adopting a modulating self-identity so I can’t be pegged, kind of like Commander Data using constantly rotating shield nutations so the Borg can’t lock on.
I will start a conversation as a black woman and then keep changing it up sentence by sentence, most of which will be me accusing someone of misidentifying or misgendering me based on my previous statement.
An good character actor and impersonator could have a field day with the idea, and a comedy duo could get a pretty good routine out of it, at least if woke people hadn’t killed comedy.
