So don’t engage. About a decade and a half ago there were plenty of people saying reusable rockets were, if not impossible, a waste of time. I assume some of them were probably PhDs…
I know some of them said, “You claim reusability will lower costs. Well, the Space Shuttle was reusable, and it didn’t lower costs. So there!”
