  1. 3d printing is slow. So I always thought production would probably use a 3d printed prototype to produce a mold. Producing the mold directly is a very clever idea.

    1. Darn. With that idea already taken, we might have to refocus on a 3-D, 3-color, 6-flavor cupcake icing printer.

    I wonder: rather than using ceramic particles (powdered clay?), could they use Sialon and just go straight to a finished part?
