  1. “We need to consider how anyone above the age of 16 believes that throwing insults is an effective form of rebuttal. This isn’t simply about Jordan Peterson; this is about the kind of hysteria he inspires in an infantile society. Something has to change.”

Excellent point. “Infantile society” is the perfect term for what we have become.

    1. Years ago, I considered writing a social critique about the US becoming “A Nation of Children”. I never got around to it and frankly, it’s likely too late to do any good.

    2. To be fair, insulting people is an ageless persuasion technique. Obama is celebrated for his insults while Trump is condemned. It often just comes down to personal preference of the audience for what team they support. For example, infantile is a get persuasive insult.

What some people view as infantile, others view as moral imperative. How can people acting on moral imperative be persuaded to change by people who think they are childish?

It is an important riddle to solve because the real problem isn’t people using insults but websites being shutdown, bank accounts closed, social media accounts censored, search engine attacks on businesses, the mobilization of violent mobs to shut down events, among other similar acts.
