It wont be over until they no longer control education. A lot of blue states also have judiciaries that need reformed.
I live in a liminal space between their religious heartland and the USA, there are no signs progressives are on the way out.
This was my 13th time to vote in a presidential election. I recall being on the losing side many times. More than once after a Democrat win, some reporter wrote how the win, no matter how narrow, was evidence of a permanent Democrat majority forevermore. It was BS then and it’s BS now. Pendulums are going to keep swinging. The only way Progressivism will ever end would be to permanently end the Deep State and drain the Swamp. Even then, bad ideas keep coming back like the villain in a horror movie.
