College Professors

…largely only teach the left-wing view of controversial issues:

“‘Personally, I thought we’d find some imbalance, some activist teaching,’ co-author Jon Shields, a professor of government at Claremont McKenna College, told The College Fix. ‘I just didn’t expect it to be the norm in the cases we studied. That was genuinely surprising to me.’

Sadly, it’s not surprising to me at all. It’s a large part of why the country is such a disaster.

  1. Totally OT but I have to rant.

Comey was indicted yesterday by a Grand Jury on two counts. But it appears the trial jurisdiction will be in DC. There will be no justice there. A swamp creature being tried by a jury of under rock dwellers. I sure wish we could move the venue to Texas.*

*Another VERY GOOD reason to de-centralize the Federal Government executive bureaucracy. Like yesterday…

    1. I maybe mistaken but I think it is to be tried in Virginia:

“As of September 2025, former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia. The charges include making a false statement and obstruction of a congressional proceeding, relating to his testimony in 2020.

However as posted elsewhere the judge is a Biden appointee supposedly “randomly” selected.

      1. Somebody needs to interrogate a few people about these selections. Serious jail time of found to be corrupt. First whistle blower goes free.

      2. You are right. Eastern district of Virginia. i.e. Northern Virginia deep blue. Truly a jury of Comey’s peers. I expect an acquittal on all charges…

    2. I was wondering when this shoe was going to drop:

“DOJ Seeks Information on Georgia Prosecutor Willis, NYT Reports”

“The U.S. Department of Justice has issued a subpoena for records related to the travel history of Fani Willis, the Atlanta area prosecutor who charged President Donald Trump in an election interference case, The New York Times reported on Friday.

The Times said that it was not clear whether Willis is the target of the inquiry or whether she will ultimately face charges.”

I seem to recall an issue of approx. 600K in federal dollars I believe earmarked for “Covid relief” that she misappropriated for her personal use. Now that her being dropped from the Georgia case has been finalized by the Georgia Supreme Court that should free up her calendar.

  2. I have a hard time blaming the relatively new instructors. They know who’s buttering their bread. The professor with the big department office, and little patience for newbies that question their syllabus “suggestions” they have received, are to blame. It’s an “Institutional” problem and can only be addressed there.

  3. “The most likely explanation my guess would be is that it’s not particularly damaging to one side (Trump) or the other side (Bill Clinton) of the political aisle. But it may be damaging to billionaire donor(s) classes (think folks like Bill Gates associated with Epstein) who support both sides of the aisle and it’s because of pressure from them that the information isn’t being released.”

“Epstein documents released by House Democrats name Elon Musk, Steve Bannon and Peter Thiel

House Oversight Democrats released more documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein that mention X CEO Elon Musk, political strategist Steve Bannon and tech billionaire Peter Thiel.

Democrats on the committee released six heavily redacted pages on Friday afternoon out of the 8,544 documents it received, which includes portions of Epstein’s apparent schedule and ledger.

Musk was mentioned in Epstein’s apparent schedule regarding a potential trip to his island.”

And Bill Gates as well (not mentioned in this article I don’t think). In other words the Epstein file “coverup” isn’t protecting Trump per see but the billionaire donor class that “supports” (owns) both sides of the aisle.

    1. I wouldn’t put a lot of credence in any sudden Democrat “discovery” of an alleged piece of evidence implicating a list of their political enemies in Epstein shenanigans. If there was anything to this, the question immediately arises as to why the Biden regime didn’t trot this out when it was still in power and it might have helped them defeat Trump. Then there’s the inclusion of Peter Theil on the list. Theil is gay so his alleged interest in boinking jailbait girls seems wildly unlikely.

      1. “the inclusion of Peter Theil on the list. Theil is gay so his alleged interest in boinking jailbait girls seems wildly”

Rich people value their optics how they appear their image is everything to them. Rich donors whether they indulged in the pedophilia or not would not want to be associated in any fashion with Jeffrey Epstein regardless of the nature of said association he is/was toxic. It for instance was one of the motivations behind Melinda Gates divorcing Bill Gates (publicly stated). I don’t know anything about his involvement if any with the underage girls. Interestingly little mention of Bill Clinton who allegedly flew 26 times on the so-called lolita express that is Epstein’s private plane not necessarily to the island.

  4. Remember when people used to say, “At least STEM will be safe from this nonsense.” Without even realizing where the term STEM came from.
