One small step for space law. This is a pretty good overview of the legal situation.

Loverro
Wow.
Wonder what that’s about?
Hope this doesn’t affect the launch schedule. He was supposed to chair it, I think.
[Update a while later]
Here is the story from Chris Davenport.
[Update a while more later]
And the one from Jackie Feldscher.
[Update few minutes later]
And Eric Berger’s.
[Wednesday-morning update]
Here’s Eric’s latest take. If Loverro really believed that the only way to do 2024 was with Boeing and SLS, he was in the wrong job.

Starship On The Moon
Bob Zubrin has a different idea.
Elon chose methane because he was thinking Mars, but absent finding significant deposits of lunar carbon, LOX/Hydrogen is probably a better propellant for lunar ops.
NASA’s “Comically Big Moon Rocket”
How it’s coming along. There’s nothing funny about the cost, though.
The Artemis Accords
OK, it’s simply some high-level, unobjectionable principles (other than to Moon Agreement fans), but seems like a long way from draft agreements. And why only bilateral? I guess they want to work off the framework of the ISS agreements. The devil, of course, will lie in the details.
Mark Kelly, Worldview, And China
A long history. I hadn’t realized the degree to which Kelly and China were involved.
I wonder how this will affect the race? McSally is not a great campaigner, but this might help her hang on to the seat.
The Latest Elon Bashing
I’m glad this guy’s not in charge of anything.
Space Force
The comedy series. It sounds like it will be terrible, and based on ignorant premises.
Coming Attractions
NASA dropped this video yesterday. It’s like a movie trailer.
Starship’s Static Fire
It appears to have been a success. Now on to another one, or a hop.
