  1. Dunno Rand we haven’t called on drone strikes yet.
We have literally extrajudicial killed a American citizen like they were ISIS in drone strikes. Yes I am aware who was president and wasn’t pleased about it then either.
Oh here one the last administration went after. and the last administration was more secretive on who was killed in this way.

    1. I’m literally shaking right now as I think of all the American citizens extrajudicially murdered by Franklin Roosevelt just because they happened to be in a hostile army.

    2. Yet…

If any of the things Democrats are using the federal government for were done to them and their activist groups, the entire country would be on fire.

Did you catch that time’s article about how the Democrat’s race riots were organized to get people to vote? How many centuries have Democrats been organizing race riots for electoral purposes and when will the useful idiot class catch on they are being manipulated to be racist and hate other people?

  2. The thought that Americans shouldn’t be treated like ISIS insurgents is definitely correct. But the article really isn’t about that.

“Reason” Magazine has long been co-opted by the far left, and I read it with the same attitude as I do Mother Jones, i.e. “Not this b**shit again…”

To wit: “The Capitol really was [“]stormed[“] by Americans convinced, despite the evidence, that the presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump.”

“despite the evidence”? How about “because” of the staggering amount of evidence? Evidence being ignored by the mainstream media, though widely available from reputable sources? I should distinguish reputable sources from “mainstream media”, which is no longer reputable in any sense.

Then there’s: “People died in the violence.” Yes, they did. All of them Trump supporters. One, Ashli Babbitt, was murdered on camera. Not by a “capitol policeman,” but by a private security guard hired by one of the US senators. He fired at her without provocation, while she had behind her a crowd of SWAT police. He should be up on manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges, but never will be. You’ll never hear his name mentioned in the mainstream media, and Ashli Babbitt will go down as a justified shooting of a maniacal “rioter.” The only non-Trump supporter who died was Brian Sicknick, of the Capitol Police. Widely reported as having been hit in the head by a Trump supporter using a fire extinguisher, he died later at a hospital. The only problem is, video – and a lot of it – doesn’t show him being hit by anything. We still don’t know what he died of. Two of the others died of underlying medical causes (stroke and heart attack), while one was apparently trampled by the crowd. But Tuccille’s one-liner that “people died in the violence” implies, falsely, that it was at the hand of Trump supporters.

Tuccille wants to appear to be opposing the treatment of Americans as insurgents, while striving to paint them as such to the maximum extent he can.

What’s the point? I can’t think of a legitimate one; but am open to suggestions.

    1. Sicknick was also a Trump supporter in a private capacity.

The media spread disinformation that he was killed by a blow to the head but there is zero evidence and he might have died from a heart attack. Any accountability for people spreading this fabrication? Nope.

People say that the fraud we know of wouldn’t have changed the outcome. That some lady busted in Texas harvesting thousands of votes, Democrats paying native Americans to vote, or any of the other schemes would have made a difference but each one adds up and shows a pattern across the country of using a diversity of election fraud schemes.

Libertarians of the Reason variety come off as eat us last but Democrats are coming after them too.
