  1. “As the northern hemisphere begins to emerge from the worst of the pandemic, political punditry is focusing on two issues: how to reopen the economy and how to decouple from China. The two subjects are related because a large part of the Western economy is joined at the hip with Beijing. To a substantial degree, China produces what America consumes. Each country’s holdings in the other are enormous. They are bound by innumerable contracts, deals, projects and cross-posted personnel that are not easily severed.”
Well, it seems there a lot to said about China. But what is China, is the fantasy of a huge market + an illusion one do stuff without governmental restriction. Why would Chinese government not allow you to do stuff in a less restrictive way, until such time as they decide to end this illusion. Or it seems that game is over. China will remain a oppression regime {not going to “magically transform into something else”] But what important is nobody likes China not keen on buying anything from this oppressive place.
If you were to plan {who knows maybe it was designed} the PR flop of the history of world- how would be different than doing this Chinese Flu? And may sure the china government threats not to supplies need medical stuff, cause that adds great flavor to the Flop.
Perhaps a more interesting question is how could do anything to stop decoupling from China. That sounds quite challenging.
But I don’t buy the idea that our relationship with China is enormous- though it seems a lot {as in too much} Chinese students in the US. And China spying on US is pretty big thing.
Anyways, how and when we emerge from the WHO flu pandemic is interesting topic.
Let’s do some review. In comparison to Europe, US is doing quite well. Though Europe has a lot disadvantages compared US, and largely because of these disadvantages, Europe killed a lot of it’s healthcare providers. And US has been quite successful at not killing many healthcare providers.
And it seems the greatest factor in having less carnage in our hospitals is the speed that Trump stopped air travel with China.
One could always say, Trump “could have” stopped air travel with China faster. But it seems something more important to say, is we could have had WHO, do it’s job {a lot better}. WHO condemned even thinking of restricting air travel with China. Or WHO proved all effort supporting this organization was not merely a waste time and money, but it’s creation resulted in it doing the opposite of what it was suppose to do- it betrayed it’s entire purpose for it’s existence- a such treason was bought by the Chinese government for less than a nickel. Or Chinese “investment” in WHO bought WHO betraying to entire World. And basically, WHO mostly nuked Europe.
And probably the Ethiopian in charge of WHO, did not like Europe, anyhow. Probably brainwashed all his life against those bad people living in Europe. And probably delusionally thought world was overpopulated, anyhow. {As useful note, don’t put anyone with the religious beliefs that world is over populated in charge of international agency which suppose to declare global pandemics}.

That’s the same reason I don’t want physicians to be administering any “assisted suicides.” They should not have to deal with that sort of conflict of interest. If people really want euthanasia, then we should have specific professionals who are dedicated solely to providing it, and the doc can make a referral if the patient insists.

Call them “licensed executioners” or something similar. Maybe Orkin will want get into that biz. They could have Edward G. Robinson do a posthumous endorsement, too.
