When I mentioned this to the lovely and talented KfK, she replied that she had lifetime elite status (she traveled a lot for business). “Well,” I observed, “maybe if they extended yours, you’d live longer.”
She liked that one.
Yeah, I’ve only got 700K. 300K more to be a million miler. My friend, Bob Poole (of the Reason Foundation), on the other hand, has a couple million. I’ve only made Platinum once, but I came close in 2018 with my trips to Europe. My new worry is miles expiration. I’ve got a couple hundred thousand.
