I’ve been concerned about this for a while. It shows how fragile our infrastructure is. And it’s why proposals like Zeke Emanuel’s to continue it for over a year is societal suicide.

Has it been here (at least in the Bay Area) a lot longer than we thought? I think it’s quite plausible that it was here in December, which in a sense is good news, because it probably means we already have a lot more herd immunity than we thought, and the fatality rate is much lower than earlier fears.
We are 100 times safer now than in early March. Hope this is right.

Florida State dumps policies on bias, ‘offensive’ language, ‘demeaning’ behavior, ‘inappropriate’ email.
But Ole Miss still requires on-line students to complete ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ training.
Absurd.
I’ve been saying this for weeks; recognize it to punish China (and reward its own good behavior).
